MAPPING THE TERRITORY

A live performance, collaboration of spoken word and drawing, with Yonatan Kunda.
Moving amidst the entangled lines of Jaffa, with drawing and with words, that move separately and together, between the markings of the boundaries, the walls and the pathways that are inscribed and erased continually.
With lines and with voice, with Hebrew and with charcoal, with words and with erasure, between mother and son, the two map out an improvisational encounter.
The work was performed for the poetry/performance series, Orpheus in Jaffa, the Arab-Hebrew Theatre, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel
