As part of a series of actions commemorating 51 years of activity in the gallery, I mark the days, the months and the years by covering the wall behind the front desk with a layer of charcoal and then etching into it with a sharp tool – one mark for each of the days that has passed since the gallery’s beginning. [366 marks x 51 = 18,666 marks]
On another wall, per request of the curator, I do careful pencil drawings from some of the plants in the gallery’s yard.
