FROM DAISY TO EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY
[Everything (is Everything)]

Ramat Hasharon, Israel 2010-11

This large wall work began with drawing in old volumes of Encyclopedia Britannica. All that haphazard knowledge organized alphabetically, based on one voice of authority- it seems so archaic now. I took one volume, From Daisy to Educational Psychology, and began to color in diagrams, to cut up and paste random pieces onto a large wall of my studio. Then, using charcoal powder, graphite powder, charcoal and colored pencils, and incising tools, I worked over, into, and between these fragments. Lines connecting nail holes or markings created a web temporarily linking all the disparate pieces.
