A book-based series that uses pages from books on the history and development of the city of Tel Aviv, fused with maps of canoe routes of northern Ontario, from the artist’s Canadian upbringing, The juxtapositions highlight the impossible disconnections and dislocations of the two locations.
The work relates back to the Installation > Reforestation: A topography of longing.
