CLASSICS REDRAWN
2008
The work was part of a month long project in the Nachshon project space in Kibbutz Nachshon, Israel.

The artist enters into dialogue with the classics of drawings. Onto the pages of books and catalogues of classic drawings, she adds another layer, covers over and exposes, marks and erases. She uses, pencil, ink and brush as well as local natural materials as her tools.
The audience was free to sit and peruse the books and pages, and watch the artist at work at the opening of the exhibition.
